Adidas reported third-quarter revenue of EUR7.252 billion, up 9% and a record for the company. Operating profit rose 37% to EUR1.008 billion, also a record.
The company raised its full-year 2026 operating profit outlook to EUR2.6 billion and now expects currency-neutral revenue growth of 9 to 10% for the year. It is the third time this cycle that Adidas has lifted its profit guidance: the figure stood at EUR2.3 billion in July before moving to EUR2.5 billion earlier this month and now to EUR2.6 billion.
Adidas also said it has received a majority of the EUR200 million in US tariff claims it had been pursuing. The resolution removes a cost overhang that had clouded margin visibility and helps explain the jump in quarterly operating profit.
With guidance rising for a third consecutive time, Adidas has moved from managing down expectations to repeatedly clearing its own raised bar. That track record raises the stakes for investors should the company ever fall short of a forecast it has itself just lifted.
