GE Aerospace reported third-quarter earnings per share of $2.25, beating estimates by $0.18. Revenue came in at $13.29 billion, ahead of the $13.26 billion expected.
The company raised its full-year 2026 adjusted revenue growth guidance to approximately 19% to 20%, up from a prior high-teens outlook. It lifted 2026 operating profit guidance to $10.9 billion to $11.0 billion, from $10.55 billion to $10.75 billion, and raised adjusted earnings per share guidance to $8.00 to $8.10, from $7.65 to $7.85. Free cash flow guidance rose to $9.1 billion to $9.4 billion, from $8.9 billion to $9.2 billion.
Chairman and CEO H. Lawrence Culp, Jr. said the company is raising guidance across the board and now expects 2027 commercial services revenue to grow in the low double digits, supported by a commercial services backlog of more than $170 billion.
The increases span every major 2026 line, revenue growth, operating profit, earnings and cash flow, suggesting the recovery in commercial services is running ahead of what management expected even a quarter ago. Extending the outlook into 2027 with double-digit services growth tied to that backlog points to aftermarket demand holding up over several years rather than a short-term bump. For investors watching the aerospace supply chain, where spare parts and shop visit volumes have driven margins, the size of the revision matters as much as the quarterly beat itself.
