Howmet Aerospace lifted its 2026 forecast to about $10.30 billion in revenue and about $5.50 in adjusted earnings per share, and gave its first look at 2027. The prior baselines were about $10.05 billion and about $5.27. The new outlook matters more than the quarter itself.
Third-quarter earnings were $1.46 a share, $0.08 above expectations. Revenue was $2.70 billion against $2.62 billion expected.
For 2027, Howmet targets revenue of about $11.5 billion. That is about 12% above the raised 2026 figure. The company had not guided that year before.
CEO John Plant said the backlog of commercial aerospace orders supports higher production in 2027. He said demand for gas turbines keeps strengthening. He also said he does not expect the Middle East conflict to materially affect demand for spares. Later quarters will test that view.
Shareholders also get more cash. The quarterly dividend rises 17% to $0.14 a share. The board added $5 billion to the share repurchase programme, which brings total authorization to $5.397 billion.
