CSL said on Monday that it expects pre-tax transformation savings to rise to $400m in FY27 and up to $550m in FY28. It also reaffirmed its FY27 guidance.
The FY27 figure of $400m matches the annualised savings CSL gave in August, not the incremental figure. On its August earnings call, CSL said it expected about $220m of incremental savings in FY27, taking annualised savings to about $400m, Investing.com reported. The two FY27 measures differ, so they should be read apart when set against the August guidance.
The rest of the outlook is unchanged. CSL expects revenue in line with the prior year and underlying profit growth of about 5 per cent, as set out in its FY2026 results announcement in August. CSL said it will progress an A$1bn buyback in FY26 and an A$1.1bn buyback in FY27. The FY27 figure is the same as the buyback it set out in August.
Two items from August remain open. CSL guided for revenue at CSL Vifor to fall about 25 per cent in FY27, according to Quartr's summary of the results. Management has also discussed a review of options for Seqirus.
