The shares in the application are Class A common stock, a class of ordinary share. Anthropic first submitted a draft registration statement confidentially on June 1. Crypto Briefing reports the company's last private valuation was $965 billion, set in a $65 billion funding round in May 2026, and a target of about $2 trillion for the offering. KuCoin News flash reports the offering could raise as much as $100 billion, with some estimates nearer $60 billion, and names Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan and Morgan Stanley as lead underwriters. Crypto Briefing reports that pricing will follow depending on market conditions.
Anthropic has committed to spend up to $120.58 billion on compute from SpaceX AI and from Nvidia. The commitment is a multi-year obligation and it appears in Anthropic's application to list on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the ticker $ANT. Anthropic was due to make that application public on Monday.
The company has put the offering at up to $100 billion. A roadshow, the series of meetings with investors before shares are priced, is expected the week of November 9. Anthropic is seeking an initial public offering (IPO), the first sale of its shares to the public.
On September 29, Anthropic put its SpaceX compute figure at up to $84.5 billion. The new commitment formalizes that figure and ties it to Nvidia chip spending. The obligation lands ahead of a compressed timetable for the roadshow.
The new obligation adds to that picture and shows how much of Anthropic's growth plans depend on securing Nvidia-linked capacity. The commitment does not settle open questions about Anthropic's valuation.
On October 25, Elon Musk said SpaceX had closed $40 billion of debt to pay for graphics processing units (GPUs), the chips used to train and run AI models. He also said tight credit would leave only a few of the more than 200 neoclouds, cloud providers built for AI computing, standing. SpaceX has priced bonds at up to 8.75 per cent on a $40 billion credit deal. The regular session opens at 9:30 AM Eastern.
