DoorDash will pay at least 75 per cent of the $65 a share in cash and up to 25 per cent in its own stock, and expects the deal to close in late 2027 or the first half of 2028. The antitrust review timeline, not the headline price, will set how quickly DoorDash can bring Instacart's enterprise and advertising units into its business.
