Gen Digital reported second-quarter earnings of $0.74 per share, $0.01 above expected. Revenue was $1.37 billion, against $1.35 billion expected.
For the third quarter, the company forecast revenue of $1.365 billion to $1.390 billion and earnings per share of $0.73 to $0.75. It raised its full-year revenue forecast to $5.465 billion to $5.515 billion, from $5.375 billion to $5.475 billion. Its full-year earnings per share forecast rose to $2.93 to $2.98, from $2.87 to $2.97.
Chief Financial Officer Natalie Derse said strong customer demand, disciplined investment and efficiency gave the company confidence to raise its full-year guidance. The board declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.125 per share, payable on December 9, 2026, to shareholders of record on November 16, 2026.
The quarter and the raised full-year outlook both landed at or above the top of the growth range that had been flagged before the report. Both came on top of two guidance raises in recent weeks. The higher full-year ranges point to strength across the business, not a single strong quarter. Speculation about GoDaddy is separate from the core business and does not change its path. The company has now met a higher bar of its own setting, and its standalone growth case depends less on deal activity than it did before.
