The deal closed only weeks ago for roughly $13 billion. NVIDIA had already built it into its wider AI security push, which includes the Open Agent Safety Platform. That platform is designed partly around lessons from Hugging Face's July breach.
The review adds regulatory risk to a deal that has only just closed. Hugging Face has said the July breach was its most severe platform failure to date. That could sharpen antitrust questions about NVIDIA folding a widely used AI model-sharing hub into its own stack.
