The S&P 500 ETF is up 0.5%. Technology leads at +1.1%, with Gen Digital, HP Enterprise, Enphase Energy and Synopsys all up more than 4%, while Corning lags at -3.3%. Energy is broadly higher at +0.8%, led by SM Energy and Matador Resources. Financials, Real Estate, Industrials and Consumer Staples are each down 0.7%, with Fidelity National Financial off 4.5% and Northrop Grumman down 3.8% weighing on their groups. Health Care is down 0.5%, dragged by a 6.0% drop in Moderna. Consumer Discretionary is flat, with General Motors down 4.0% and Ford down 2.2% offsetting gains in Airbnb and Royal Caribbean.
Growth factors outperform value: S&P 500 Growth +0.7% versus S&P 500 Value +0.1%, and Mega Cap Growth ETF +1.0%.
Within mega-cap growth, Accenture +3.6%, ServiceNow +3.3% and Alphabet shares up more than 2.6% stand out, while Prologis and Merck lag near -1.6%.
Among other sector ETFs, the Oil & Gas E&P ETF +1.6%, Software ETF group +1.5% and Biotech ETF +1.4% lead, while the Airlines ETF is down 1.3%.
