Adidas keeps its 9 to 10 per cent revenue range and sees possible upside
Adidas's October 20 release set that range as currency-neutral growth for the full year 2026.
Adidas's chief executive said the company is keeping its 9 to 10 per cent revenue range and that results could come in above it.
The same release raised the full-year operating profit outlook to around €2.5 billion, from around €2.3 billion.
Adidas says it received the majority of its US tariff claims in the quarter and booked a refund of around €200 million, which helped lift gross margin to 54.3 per cent. The company also says a migration to new business software in parts of Europe pushed some wholesale deliveries from the end of the quarter into the fourth quarter. It expects high-single-digit growth in Europe in the fourth quarter as a result.
Keeping the range rather than cutting it fits a pattern of guidance that has been beaten rather than cut, and suggests the fourth quarter is tracking at least in line with it. A soft fourth-quarter figure would now read as a break from that trend, not as ordinary caution.
