Strike on Dnipro train station kills at least 13 people
Team-level talks between Russia, Ukraine and the US are planned for early November. Moscow's demand for the rest of Donbas is unchanged.
Map: Ukraine, marking Dnipro
At least 13 people were killed in a strike on the train station in Dnipro, Ukraine.
The attack follows a recent overnight barrage of 16 ballistic missiles and more than 280 drones. Strikes of this scale have continued for about a month, alongside the work of setting up trilateral talks. Team-level meetings are planned for early November, with Abu Dhabi and Switzerland both named as venues.
Moscow's demand for the rest of Donbas has not changed.
For anyone pricing in a settlement, the talks calendar has so far produced no easing on the battlefield and no shift in Russia's terms.
