HF Sinclair reported third-quarter earnings of $11.75 a share, $3.98 above expectations. Revenue was $10.86B, against $9.07B expected.
Refining, which turns crude oil into fuel, drove the result. In late July, the company said refining margins and volumes from its second quarter should carry into the third. A beat of this size fits that outlook. The revenue figure points to the same refining strength that HF Sinclair credited when it raised its dividend in July.
The company also declared a regular quarterly dividend of $0.525 a share. It is payable on December 2, 2026, to holders of record on November 12, 2026. The payout stays at the July rate and is not lifted again.
Whether refining strength holds into the fourth quarter is the next test for the company's earnings trend.
