Rexford Industrial Realty has completed the sale of a 22-property industrial portfolio totaling 5.2 million rentable square feet to an affiliate of EQT Real Estate for approximately $1.2 billion. The deal closed September 16, 2026.
The sale is part of a $2.0 billion non-core portfolio realignment the company has been working through this year. It brings completed dispositions so far in 2026 to $1.5 billion, the low end of Rexford's full-year guidance range of $1.5 billion to $2.0 billion.
Rexford says it has used proceeds to repay $492 million of debt and repurchase $505 million of common stock year to date. It plans to direct remaining proceeds toward 2027 debt maturities, further share repurchases and repositioning and development projects. The company has reaffirmed its 2026 guidance.
With the year-to-date total already at the low end of its disposition target, Rexford has room to spare on the realignment plan. Directing the proceeds toward debt paydown, buybacks and next year's maturities points to balance-sheet discipline rather than a forced or distressed sale. The reaffirmed guidance removes a key point of uncertainty around execution of the $2.0 billion plan, a modestly bullish signal for the stock.
