Ten US Military Aircraft Arrive in Israel

Ten US Air Force transport planes touched down at Israeli air bases in the south, part of a wider convoy moving military gear around the Middle East. The planes flew in from Fort Bliss, Texas, and are thought to be carrying air defense equipment meant to shield assets in the region, following US warnings this week about a possible brief but intense conflict with Iran.
Fort Bliss holds one of the military's biggest caches of air defense gear, so the shipment may be restocking interceptor missiles for systems such as THAAD and Patriot already deployed in Israel.
Other planes from the same convoy touched down in Jordan, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. This follows an earlier account that Washington had sent another Patriot battery to the region in case tensions with Iran worsen.
Reports didn't name the exact aircraft type, but given the heavy cargo involved, they were probably C-5M Super Galaxys, C-17 Globemaster IIIs, or some mix of both. The Israeli planes landed at the Ovda and Nevatim bases, the latter being home to several F-35 squadrons.
According to an Israeli source, Washington and Jerusalem are coordinating closely on the Iran issue, adding that another US aircraft carrier and an extra Marine unit are expected to join forces already in the region.
The source noted that while no final decision has been made, both countries are getting ready for whatever choice President Donald Trump ultimately makes.
Other sources said American forces throughout the Middle East are rebuilding their weapons supplies, even as some US troops have been told to withdraw from the region.
This convoy detail is the clearest physical corroboration yet that the post-midterm bombing campaign described in recent reporting is being logistically prepared rather than just discussed, with Fort Bliss air-defense stock moving to Israel, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Qatar simultaneously. It arrives the same week Tom Barrack called Washington "very close" to a deal and Qatari mediators returned to Tehran, so the hardware buildup runs directly counter to that diplomatic optimism rather than confirming it.
Interceptor restocking for THAAD and Patriot batteries also signals officials expect retaliation severe enough to require layered missile defense, which is a stronger operational marker than the verbal threats traded all month. Until Iran responds to the latest proposal, this shipment keeps the contingency-planning track visibly ahead of the negotiating track.
