China deliveries dropped 33% as Europe and North America also declined, extending pressure that has built since 2022

Porsche delivered 178,532 vehicles worldwide in the first nine months of 2026, down 16% from 212,509 a year earlier, the company said. Europe excluding Germany fell 11%, Germany fell 7%, China fell 33% and North America fell 13%.
China deliveries totaled 21,493 vehicles, extending a decline that has run since 2022 as Porsche contends with intense price competition in the electric segment and a broader slowdown in the country's luxury market.
North America remained Porsche's largest market by volume at 56,088 vehicles, down 13%, a decline the company attributed mainly to the end of 718 production, which stopped in October of the prior year, and a stronger year-earlier performance from the electric Macan. The 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman recorded 3,291 deliveries, down 79%. The Macan line, combining electric and combustion models, totaled 51,025 units, down 21%. Panamera deliveries reached 13,714, down 35%, and Taycan deliveries totaled 8,699, down 31%.
The nine-month pace is steeper than full-year 2024 comparisons implied, reinforcing why Porsche has already warned that its pivot back toward gas and hybrid models will weigh on 2026 earnings. That pivot leaves a gap in the lineup, since the outgoing gas Macan ends production before its replacement arrives, a timing mismatch analysts have flagged as a risk to the recovery plan. The declines in Germany and the rest of Europe show the pressure is no longer confined to China alone.
