Texas Instruments is raising its quarterly cash dividend 7%, to $1.52 a share from $1.42, or $6.08 annualized. The company says the increase marks the 23rd consecutive year it has raised the payout.
The new dividend is due November 10, 2026 to stockholders of record as of October 30, 2026, contingent on formal declaration by the board at its October meeting.
Last year's increase was smaller: Texas Instruments raised its quarterly dividend 4% in 2025, marking the 22nd straight year of increases, according to the company's investor relations site. The company ties this year's larger raise to its stated intent to return all free cash flow to shareholders over time, rather than to any change in buyback plans, according to a report by StockTitan on the release. Based on the prior $1.42 quarterly dividend, TXN's forward yield stood at 2.18% as of September 1, 2026, according to dividend tracker Digrin.
The raise signals confidence in sustained cash generation at a time when semiconductor peers are rallying on broad sector strength. It points to relative stability in the chip sector's outlook and adds to the bullish tone in semiconductor stocks this morning.
