SPY is up 1.1% on the session. Technology leads the main sectors at +2.2%, with semiconductors driving the advance: Intel is the top performer in the sector at +9.7%, followed by HP Enterprise at +7.8% and AMD at +6.7%, while Salesforce is the clear laggard at -2.7%. Consumer Discretionary is up 1.4%, with the auto names among the best performers: General Motors +3.5% and Ford Motor +3.1%, while Lyft is the notable weak spot at -2.2%. Materials is up 1.0%, led by Albemarle +5.8%, International Paper +3.8%, and Mosaic +3.1%, with broad strength across the chemical and mining names. Health Care is up 0.6%, with Moderna topping the sector at +6.9% and Ionis Pharma at +3.7%, while Zimmer Biomet -2.0% and Boston Scientific -1.3% are notable laggards. Real Estate is up 0.6%, with Alexandria Real Estate the standout at +5.1%. Utilities are up 0.7%. Financials is up only 0.2%, with gains in exchange and brokerage names offset by weakness across insurance: Marsh & McLennan -1.3%, Berkshire Hathaway -1.8%, and Instacart -3.9% are the sector's weakest names. Industrials is up just 0.2% as a sector: Generac surges 18.9% to dominate the sector, while defense names weigh on the average, with RTX Corp -2.0%, Boeing -1.6%, General Dynamics -1.5%, Northrop Grumman -1.4%, and Lockheed Martin -1.1% all in the red. Consumer Staples is up 0.2%, essentially flat. Energy is up a modest 0.5% at the sector level, led by refiners: Phillips 66 +2.9%, Marathon Petroleum +1.9%, and Valero Energy +1.6%, while the exploration and production names are mixed to slightly negative.
On factors, growth and momentum are clearly in the lead. High Beta ETF tops the factor board at +2.4%, followed by iShares MSCI USA Momentum Factor ETF at +2.1%, S&P 500 Momentum at +1.9%, and S&P 500 Growth at +1.4%. Mega Cap Growth ETF and Vanguard Growth ETF are each up 1.5%. Dividend and value factors are lagging, with Dividend ETF up only 0.2% and S&P 500 Value up 0.8%.
In the mega-cap growth cohort, AMD +6.7%, Oracle +4.4%, Qualcomm +2.9%, Broadcom +2.8%, Tesla +2.8%, and Nvidia +2.5% are the standouts to the upside. Most of the rest of the cohort is modestly positive. On the downside, Salesforce -2.7% and RTX Corp -2.0% are the clear underperformers.

Super Micro Computer leads the top gainers at +10.2%, followed by Arm Holdings +7.3%, AST SpaceMobile +6.9%, Astera Labs +6.8%, and Redwire Space +6.3%. On the downside, CoreWeave is the biggest decliner at -5.1%, followed by T-Mobile US -4.7%, Karman Holdings -4.4%, Copart -3.4%, and Builders FirstSource -3.4%.
