Nvidia is putting $2 billion into Brookfield's AI Fund, adding another partner to its expanding list of infrastructure commitments.
The move follows Nvidia chief Jensen Huang's forecast that the company's chip sales will double next year. Nvidia has also said its chips power Apple's cloud-based AI systems, part of a broader pattern of deepening ties with corporate partners across the AI buildout.
The Brookfield commitment signals confidence in that long-term buildout and fits with Huang's growth forecast and Nvidia's widening web of partnerships. Set against Nvidia's $99 billion equity position and its existing momentum, the sum is constructive but incremental, and it leaves the company's directional sentiment unchanged.
