Treasury Secretary Bessent has said President Trump is completely aligned with Nvidia chief executive Jensen Huang.
Huawei's lead in China is bearish for Nvidia's near-term revenue there, though it reflects a narrowing of the competitive gap rather than a decisive shift. US-China relations around AI remain unsettled, with tariff talks ongoing and regulatory pressure building on both sides. That makes any progress Huawei makes in its overseas trials more consequential for Nvidia than the China lead it already holds.
