SPY is flat. Sector moves are narrow across the board, with most indexes sitting near unchanged. XLY (Consumer Discretionary) leads the main sectors at +0.1%, while XLP (Consumer Staples) is the softest at -0.1%, dragged by Sysco, which falls -2.7% to stand out sharply from the rest of the staples group. XLF (Financials) is flat overall, though Coinbase slides -0.9% within the sector. XLK (Technology) is also flat, with Corning the best performer in the sector at +1.0% and NetApp the weakest at -0.6%. XLI (Industrials) is flat; Quanta Services leads the sector at +1.3% while C.H. Robinson is the clear laggard at -1.4%. XLV (Health Care) is marginally negative; Humana falls -0.6% within the group. XLE (Energy), XLRE (Real Estate), XLB (Materials), and XLU (Utilities) are all flat to fractionally moved.
Factor signals are muted. SPMO (S&P 500 Momentum) is the most notable mover at +0.3%, with growth and value factors both barely positive. No meaningful factor rotation is visible in the after-hours session.
Within the mega-cap growth cohort, semis are modestly firmer, led by KLA Corp (+0.8%), Lam Research (+0.6%), Analog Devices (+0.6%), and Texas Instruments (+0.6%). Nvidia adds +0.5%. On the downside, ServiceNow (-0.5%), Alphabet (-0.4%), and Microsoft (-0.4%) are the softest names in the cohort.
The VanEck Semiconductor ETF gains +0.6% and the iShares Semiconductor ETF adds +0.4%, consistent with the semi strength in tech. XSD (Semiconductor ETF) is an outlier at -0.5%, and XTL (Telecom ETF) falls -0.8%.
Among individual movers, the gainers list is led by electrical and defense-adjacent names, while the losers are spread across software, pharma, and industrials. Veeva Systems is the steepest single-stock decliner at -1.2%.
