The disclosure comes days before investors meet in San Francisco to weigh a listing that bankers have pegged as high as $2 trillion.

Anthropic reported third-quarter revenue of $16.8 billion, giving investors a concrete figure to measure against its planned initial public offering.
Prospective investors have discussed a fair valuation of $1.8 trillion to $2 trillion ahead of a listing targeted before Thanksgiving, according to Yahoo Finance. No senior Anthropic executive has confirmed that range even in private conversations, according to Value Add VC, citing Financial Times reporting, meaning the numbers in circulation are investor and banker speculation rather than a company-set price.
Anthropic issued invitations for an October 14 investor gathering at its San Francisco headquarters ahead of the planned listing, Yahoo Finance reported.
The revenue figure gives investors a number to weigh against that valuation range and against the scale of compute commitments the company has drawn from partners including Akamai, SpaceX and Broadcom, which Nvidia has cited in describing contracted demand across the industry. It lands just before the investor meetings, handing backers hard revenue data to set against unresolved questions over a Pentagon supply-chain ruling and government-relations risk flagged in the listing documents. A strong public debut would test whether the spending building up across AI infrastructure is turning into real revenue rather than projected demand.
