An adviser to Iran's leader said that if Iran cannot operate flights or receive airport services, no country in the region will be able to either, according to Nournews.
The warning follows the UAE's suspension of flights by Iranian airlines.
The comment comes as Iran pursues a separate diplomatic track. Iran says it has presented a new proposal to the United States to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. President Pezeshkian has said Tehran wants to revive its ceasefire understanding with Washington before the November midterms.
The aviation threat lands while those talks remain fragile. Disruption to regional air services would complicate any deal framework and would signal that Tehran is weighing confrontation over the diplomatic path its leadership has recently stressed, making a near-term agreement less likely.
