Houthis claim strikes on Saudi Aramco facilities in Yanbu

Yemen's Houthis say they attacked Saudi Aramco facilities in Yanbu on the country's Red Sea coast. Saudi Arabia has not confirmed the attack.
Oil is up $4 a barrel on the claim. Aramco has told Asian refiners loadings at Yanbu could resume soon, but tankers have yet to load at the port.
The claim follows a separate Houthi statement that it struck Saudi military sites in Jazan. Saudi civil defence authorities warned Wednesday of possible attacks in Jazan and Najran.
Crude's jump suggests the market has already priced in Houthi attacks on Saudi infrastructure. What matters more than the claim itself is whether it disrupts actual exports, and for now that looks contained. That makes the move bearish mainly for conviction rather than for direction.
