Saudi Civil Defense warns of potential danger in Najran area
The alert covers Najran, days after previous warnings there were lifted following Houthi attacks on southern Saudi cities.

Saudi Civil Defense has issued a fresh warning of potential danger in the Najran area, on the border with Yemen.
The agency has issued similar alerts for Najran twice already this month. Warnings on September 8 and September 14 were both followed by official all-clear statements once the danger had passed, according to Gulf News and The Peninsula Qatar. The September 8 alert came after overnight Houthi missile strikes near the border injured 73 civilians in Najran, Jazan and Abha, including women and children, Saudi Civil Defense said at the time, as reported by The Peninsula Qatar. The September 14 warning was issued alongside a second alert for Khamis Mushait and Abha, and all four were later lifted, Business Recorder reported.
A fresh alert in Najran, coming after those earlier warnings were cleared, points to sustained pressure on Saudi territory from across the border despite the recent all-clear declarations. The repeated warnings, spread across multiple southern provinces, add to the risk facing infrastructure and economic activity in the region.
