Thermo Fisher now expects full-year revenue of $47.7 billion to $48.2 billion, a company executive said.
The range sits just above the $47.4 billion to $48.1 billion window management set after its second-quarter results in July, when it pointed to 6% to 8% reported growth over 2025.
The update follows a third quarter in which Thermo Fisher topped expectations. Earnings came to $6.68 a share, beating estimates by $0.21, and revenue reached $12.14 billion. Growth ran across life sciences, pharma services and diagnostics, after a stretch of sluggish demand in academic, government and China end markets.
The lift is narrow rather than a change in trajectory. The tightened band suggests management has more visibility into year-end demand than it did mid-year, but the size of the increase is modest enough that it mainly confirms a recovery already underway rather than pointing to a new driver of growth.
