Trump says allies can buy munitions once stockpiles are built
The president said there are plenty of other targets besides refiners to hit.

President Trump said that once munitions stockpiles are built up, he will allow allies to buy them. He added that refiners are not the only possible targets, saying there are plenty of others.
The comment widens a line Trump had already drawn around refiners as targets for strikes. It comes days after he said, on Tuesday, that he is working with both sides to end the war in Ukraine and believes Zelenskiy and Putin both want it to end.
Trump gave no list of the other targets he mentioned and no date for when stockpiles would be considered built. The statement extends, rather than narrows, the range of options the administration has floated, and it sits apart from the narrower line taken earlier this month on Iran, when Trump signalled no attack before the midterms.
For energy-linked assets already carrying a geopolitical risk premium, the remark keeps military action on the table as a standing source of leverage rather than a closed question. With no specifics attached, it adds uncertainty about scope and timing without resolving either.
