Neither strike has been confirmed, extending a run of claimed attacks on the two provinces that has gone on since mid-September

Saudi Arabia reported attacks on the airports at Jazan and Najran. No Saudi official or witness has confirmed damage or casualties from either strike.
The two provinces have been the target of repeated attack claims since mid-September, including alerts on Sep 8 and Sep 15, and each one cleared without confirmed damage. The Houthis claimed three separate operations on Monday, Oct 5, and those claims have not been confirmed either.
Saudi export infrastructure has held up through this run of claims. The east-west pipeline, which normally carries about 3.5 million barrels a day, has been restored to roughly that level, and crude exports have stayed near record levels. Saudi officials have not confirmed any strike or damage to that pipeline, and they have also not confirmed an Iranian outlet's claim of satellite imagery showing burning tanks at the Riyadh refinery.
Markets have increasingly treated these headlines as noise in the absence of confirmed damage. When the pipeline attack was reported, Brent pared its losses rather than extending them, and USO pared its pre-market loss to down 0.83% at $146.15. Unless Saudi authorities confirm damage this time, the pattern argues against reading the Jazan and Najran reports as a fresh threat to supply.
