Insmed CFO Sara Bonstein to step down after nearly seven years
Insmed says the departure is not tied to any dispute over accounting, financial statements, internal controls or operations

Insmed said Chief Financial Officer Sara Bonstein will step down effective October 30, 2026, ending a tenure of nearly seven years in the role. The company has begun a search for her successor.
Insmed said the separation is not related to any disagreement over accounting practices, financial statements, internal controls or operations. Bonstein will stay on through the third-quarter earnings call on October 29, 2026.
Alongside the announcement, Insmed reaffirmed its full-year 2026 revenue guidance of $1.25 billion to $1.40 billion for BRINSUPRI and $450 million to $470 million for ARIKAYCE.
The timing puts Bonstein's exit in the middle of brensocatib's first full year on the market, with BRINSUPRI guidance implying a sharp jump from roughly $172.7 million in all of 2025. A ten-month transition, including her presence through the October 29 earnings call, narrows the window for disruption to that ramp or to ARIKAYCE's steadier outlook, both of which the company reaffirmed. Insmed's denial of any accounting or controls dispute removes the detail that would normally prompt investors to question the financials themselves, leaving this as a succession matter rather than a signal about the business's direction.
