Hon Hai, the Taiwanese electronics maker known as Foxconn, reported September sales of NT$1.16 trillion, up 38.4% from a year earlier. The result lifted third-quarter sales to NT$3.027 trillion.
The growth follows an August rise of 52% to NT$921.8 billion, reported by Bloomberg, and a record NT$946.51 billion in July, the company's highest single-month total, according to the Taipei Times. Over the first eight months of 2026, consolidated sales reached NT$6.51 trillion, up 39.73% from a year earlier, Focus Taiwan reported.
Analysts had on average expected Hon Hai's third-quarter sales to rise about 37%, Bloomberg reported, a bar the September figure cleared. The company's second-quarter revenue had already climbed 41% to NT$2.53 trillion, with net profit up 35% to NT$60 billion, according to Hon Hai Technology Group's own investor release.
September's jump confirms the improved visibility Foxconn flagged earlier this month, when it said third-quarter performance would outperform expectations on AI demand and the seasonal ICT ramp. The scale of the increase suggests the peak-season pickup and server-related demand arrived faster than the cautious tone around macroeconomic and geopolitical risk had implied. That sets a higher bar for the formal quarterly report, where investors will look for confirmation that AI server growth, not just consumer seasonality, drove the acceleration.
