SPY is up 0.7% in a broad risk-on session led by chip and software names. Technology (+1.0%) is the strongest major sector, though moves within it are extreme: HP Enterprise +8.3%, NetApp +7.4% and SolarEdge +5.8% lead, while Seagate -11.6% and Western Digital -11.0% are the clear laggards. Consumer Discretionary (+1.2%) is lifted by Tesla +5.2% on better-than-expected Q3 deliveries, while Nike is the sector's worst performer at -4.6%. Materials (+0.8%) is led by Freeport-McMoRan +3.8% and dragged by Corteva -3.7%. Industrials (+0.7%) and Real Estate (+0.4%) are both firmer. Financials is flat, with Coinbase -3.6% and FactSet Research -2.9% the weak spots. Health Care is the lone decliner among main sectors at -0.3%, with Alnylam Pharma -3.7% underperforming.
High Beta (+1.2%) and small-cap momentum (XSMO +1.8%, SPSM +1.3%) are outperforming, with growth factors (VUG +1.0%) ahead of value (SPYV +0.4%).
Within mega-cap growth, semis stand out: Texas Instruments +4.3%, Cisco +3.2% and Nvidia +1.6%, the latter touching its first record high since May. Accenture is the group's weakest at -5.9%.
The semiconductor complex is broadly strong, with Semiconductor ETF +4.1% and Semiconductor ETF (VanEck) +1.9% tracking the Technology sector gains.
