SPY is up 0.5% pre-market. Technology leads the main sectors at +1.0%, with semiconductor names broadly strong: Lam Research, KLA Corp and Applied Materials are each up more than 1.8%. Industrials and Financials are both up 0.3%, with Coinbase leading the financials list at +2.8%. Consumer Discretionary is held back by Nike, down 10.3% after JPMorgan cut its price target to $33, even as cruise names Airbnb and Royal Caribbean outperform within the sector. Energy is the lone decliner among main sectors, off 0.9%, with most constituents lower amid talk of a possible European release of diesel and crude stocks.
Factors show a clear risk-on, high-beta tilt: VIG +1.0%, SPHB and MTUM both +0.8%, versus flat readings in SPHQ.
Within mega-cap growth, semiconductor names again stand out, led by Lam Research and KLA Corp, while Nvidia is up 1.2% after Morgan Stanley named it a top pick.
Among other sector ETFs, semiconductor funds XSD (+1.7%), SOXX (+1.6%) and SMH (+1.4%) are leading, while the Oil & Gas E&P ETF is down 1.2%.
ON Semiconductor is the standout gainer, extending a jump that had it up 9.8% intraday Thursday. Fair Isaac leads decliners outside the sector lists, with no matching headline for the move.

Crude benchmarks are sharply lower, with the Crude Oil ETF down 4.1% and the Brent Oil ETF down 3.4%, following France's proposal for an IEA release of diesel and crude reserves.
