Nike reaffirmed its forecast for fiscal 2027 revenue to fall in the high-single digits, with adjusted earnings per share of $1.15 to $1.35. Both figures match the guidance Nike gave alongside its first-quarter results.
That quarter showed earnings of $0.48 a share, ahead of expectations, while revenue of $11.21 billion fell short of the $11.43 billion estimate. The results also carried the first mention of the current fiscal 2027 outlook.
The company is in the middle of its Pace restructuring plan, which adds roughly $1.0 billion in charges. Chief Executive Elliott Hill has described the turnaround as a multi-year repair job rather than a quick fix, and the promised savings from Pace remain further out than the charges already being taken.
The one new number in Thursday's update is inventory, guided to $7.80 billion against a $7.96 billion estimate. That is tighter than expected even as sales keep contracting, a combination that leaves the restructuring costs front-loaded while the benefits are still years away.
