Press TV says Netanyahu is plotting a false-flag hijacking to blame Iran
Iranian officials cited by Press TV make the accusation as tensions between Israel and Iran continue to escalate.

Press TV, citing Iranian officials, reports that Netanyahu is conspiring to stage false-flag scenarios, including a plane hijacking, to pin on Iran.
The claim lands on top of an earlier incident involving a flydubai pilot. President Trump told Israel's N12 News he is hearing of a possible Iran link to that case. "We are looking into that, according to what I'm hearing, yes," he said.
The accusation also comes as US-Iran mediation remains stalled. Qatar floated a new proposal after Iran's own deadline for a US reply passed without an answer, following an earlier round in which talks broke down after Trump denied offering Tehran anything. Iran's foreign minister Araghchi has briefed the Iranian president on a separate US proposal, according to IRNA, and a government spokesperson told Iran's cabinet that Washington has sent one. Netanyahu's weekend visit to the UAE, confirmed by Israeli and UAE officials, was described by both sides as focused on bilateral ties and Iran.
The Wall Street Journal has reported that Trump has told aides he expects to resume bombing Iran by the end of November. An unconfirmed claim like the one from Press TV, if treated as genuine by either side, would leave less room for the Qatari-mediated track to recover and would reinforce that private timeline. Iran's PGSA has said tankers were struck in the Strait of Hormuz, with the last three tied to the UAE. Against weeks of unverified claims and denials defining the standoff, this looks like another rhetorical escalation rather than a confirmed operational shift, leaving crude's existing Hormuz-linked risk premium unchanged rather than adding a new driver.
