Separate US-Iran talks are expected Monday or Tuesday, centred on a revised seven-day Iranian proposal discussed at the UN General Assembly.

Iran's Tasnim news agency says Monday's New York meeting is with mediators, not direct talks with the US.
Iran's Foreign Minister Araghchi will meet mediators in New York today, according to state news agency ISNA. US representatives will not be present at that session.
The meeting follows a rocky stretch for the negotiations. Iran's delegation in New York had said it would not continue talks with Washington, a stance that came after President Trump rejected an earlier Iranian proposal following weeks of talks Tehran had called increasingly positive.
Today's meeting continues the pattern of indirect mediation that has defined recent weeks, with no direct US-Iran engagement and positions still far apart. Oil markets have already priced in the possibility of negotiated progress, so another round of talks without a substantive breakthrough is unlikely to shift sentiment materially.
