SPY +0.5%. Technology led sector gains at +1.0%, with semiconductors broadly strong; Qualcomm +5.2% and Microsoft +3.8% paced the group. Energy was the lone sector decliner at -1.4% as Brent crude fell roughly $3 a barrel on hopes for a US-Iran truce. Industrials rose +0.9% and Financials +0.5%, though Cboe Global Markets fell -3.9%, the sector's worst performer. Real Estate was the only other sector in the red, -0.3%. Health Care was roughly flat at +0.1% but masked wide dispersion, with Humana up +6.4% against Boston Scientific down -2.8%.
Among factors, High Beta led at +1.3%, and growth outpaced value modestly, with S&P 500 Growth up +0.6% versus S&P 500 Value up +0.3%.
In mega-cap growth, Qualcomm and Microsoft stood out on the upside while Meta Platforms fell -3.6%, the cohort's worst performer.
Among other sector ETFs, the Semiconductor ETF rose +3.0% and the Airlines ETF gained +1.7%, while the Oil & Gas E&P ETF fell -2.2% alongside broader energy weakness.
Semiconductor and data-center names led the day's single-stock gainers, while a cybersecurity name and an energy-linked name were among the laggards.

The iShares Cybersecurity and Tech ETF and the Cybersecurity ETF each fell more than 2%, alongside the decline in Palo Alto Networks. The iShares MSCI South Korea ETF and iShares MSCI Japan ETF each gained more than 2%. Crude and natural gas benchmarks dropped sharply, with the Crude Oil ETF down -3.1%, the Brent Oil ETF down -3.8%, and the Natural Gas ETF down -3.5%, tracking the pullback in oil prices on US-Iran truce hopes.
