Technology leads at +0.8%, with Akamai spiking 24.4% and Zebra Technologies up 5.3% after jumping in early trade, while AMD, Lam Research and Applied Materials each add roughly 2%. Energy is the weak spot at -1.0%, with Marathon Petroleum (-1.8%), SM Energy (-1.6%) and Phillips 66 (-1.5%) at the bottom of a broadly lower group. Financials, Staples and Utilities are little changed.
Momentum factors are outperforming: S&P 500 Momentum +1.0%, High Beta +0.9%, and Schwab International Dividend +1.2%, while Dividend and Small Cap factors are flat.
Within mega-cap growth, chip names dominate the upside, AMD +2.1%, Lam Research +2.0%, Applied Materials +2.0% and KLA +1.7%, while Chevron lags at -1.2%.
Among other sector ETFs, Metals & Mining +1.9%, Semiconductor +1.5%, VanEck Semiconductor +1.3% and Uranium +1.1% are all firm.
