Industrials (XLI) slip -0.2%, Utilities (XLU) add +0.2%, and Technology (XLK) is roughly flat at -0.1% despite Akamai Technologies jumping +17.7% within the group. Financials (XLF), Health Care (XLV), Consumer Staples (XLP), Materials (XLB) and Energy (XLE) are all within a tenth of a percent of unchanged.
Factor readings are muted, with High Beta (SPHB) the softest at -0.3% and most others clustered near flat. Within mega-cap growth, moves are small, with Elevance Health the weakest at -0.6% and Gilead Sciences down -0.4%; the rest of the cohort is within a few tenths of unchanged.
Among other sector ETFs, the Defense ETF (SHLD) stands out at +0.9%, while the rest are little changed.
Individual stock movers outside the sector and mega-cap groups are modest on both sides, with gains led by aerospace and financial names and losses concentrated in industrial and tech-adjacent names.
