A rotation out of financials into AI-linked technology names is underway, per reporting tying the move to a Nasdaq 100 push toward a record close.

Shopify is the top gainer after its Muse AI partnership with Meta was announced. Semiconductor and memory names dominate the rest of the gainers list, while insurance and advertising-linked names lead losses.
