Financials Select is the weak spot at -0.9%, dragged by Charles Schwab -3.5%, JPMorgan Chase -2.1% and Allstate -3.0%, while most of the sector's insurers and regional banks are also lower. Technology Select is up 0.3%, led by Seagate +6.0% and Western Digital +5.5%, though Cisco -2.8% lags. Consumer Discretionary Select gains 0.7% with homebuilders and travel names leading, including Lennar +5.4% and PVH Corp +4.8%. Materials Select adds 0.8%, and Energy Select is the laggard at -0.8%, with Valero Energy down 3.0%.
Among factors, High Beta leads at +1.0% alongside small caps, with iShares Russell 2000 Growth ETF also up 1.0%, while value factors are roughly flat.
Within mega-cap growth, Oracle +2.3% and Alphabet +1.7% stand out to the upside, while Cisco -2.8% and JPMorgan Chase -2.1% are the weakest.
Elsewhere, Homebuilders ETF gains 2.7%, Biotech ETF and Retail ETF each add 1.8%, and Airlines ETF is up 1.8%.
