Monster Beverage earned $0.30 a share in the third quarter, $0.01 short of expectations. Revenue of $2.55B matched the forecast.
Chief Executive Hilton H. Schlosberg said net sales outside the United States rose 28.1%, with Latin America up 48.8%, led by Brazil. He said the company had increased marketing investment across social, digital and media platforms to broaden its consumer base.
So sales landed where analysts expected and profit did not, which looks like a margin problem. Monster has been gaining share in a growing energy drink category, and this quarter suggests that growth is coming with a higher cost base.
In the quarter the company bought back about 2.3 million shares for roughly $100.0m, at an average price of $43.87. About $800.0m remained available under its repurchase authorization as of November 4, 2026.
