Six Flags posts Q3 loss of $3.59 a share and cuts 2026 capital spending forecast
Revenue of $1.17B matched expectations of $1.17B.
Six Flags expects fourth-quarter same-park Adjusted EBITDA of $140m to $150m, against $167m in the fourth quarter of 2025. That is a lower figure than a year ago, and it cuts against the story the company tells about the year so far.
John Reilly, the president and chief executive, said third-quarter results reflected progress on strategic priorities. He pointed to double-digit same-park Adjusted EBITDA growth over nine months, which he credited to better execution and growing momentum in regional pass offerings. The loss for the quarter was $3.59 a share on a GAAP basis.
The company also lowered its 2026 capital spending forecast to $350.0m to $375.0m, from $400.0m to $425.0m. Six Flags says it comes from the timing of new ride projects, not from maintenance spending.
Six Flags forecasts entering 2027 with about 3.7 million active passholders and members on a same-park basis. That is flat to slightly up, in the low single digits, versus last year. It points to a stable pass base rather than a sharp lift.
