Oracle has drawn the whole $20bn funding cap it set at Investor Day, its meeting with investors, now that two offerings have closed on Wednesday.
The closing changes none of them. It fixes the dilution for existing shareholders and the extra debt the company now carries.
Oracle says the proceeds are for general corporate purposes. That covers capital spending, repaying debt, future investments or acquisitions, and dividends or share buybacks. The company names no split between them.
