Liberty Latin America misses third-quarter revenue estimates and leans on a stronger fourth quarter

The chief executive expects revenue and Adjusted OIBDA to improve, even as the company has spent more than $150m on buying back its own shares this year.

Liberty Latin America reported third-quarter revenue of $1.12B, below the $1.16B expected.

Chief executive Balan Nair looked ahead. He said the company expects improving revenue and Adjusted OIBDA momentum in the fourth quarter, helped by the holiday selling season and the phasing of B2B revenue, which is the timing of business-customer sales.

That puts a lot on one quarter. Both reasons he gave turn on the calendar, so the fourth quarter has to show them in the numbers.

Meanwhile the company keeps returning cash. It has repurchased more than $150m of its common shares so far in 2026, nearly 10% of the shares outstanding at the end of 2025. Management is spending on its share count while the top line lags, and that pace looks easier to defend if revenue turns as Nair expects.

The board also declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.5625 per share on its 9.0% Fixed Rate Cumulative Perpetual Redeemable Series A Preference Shares. It is payable on December 15, 2026 to holders of record on November 30, 2026.
