Qnity Electronics raises 2026 sales and earnings guidance after a third-quarter beat

Third-quarter earnings of $1.46 a share beat forecasts by $0.23, and both new full-year ranges sit above the figures Qnity gave in August.

Qnity Electronics now expects 2026 net sales of $5.77bn to $5.83bn and adjusted earnings of $4.95 to $5.05 a share. It raised both ranges alongside third-quarter results that beat forecasts.

Earnings per share came in at $1.46, $0.23 better than expected. Revenue was $1.56B against $1.52B expected.

The raised outlook matters more than the quarter. Guidance is management's own forecast, and Qnity has been moving it up. In May it lifted its earnings range to $3.80-$4.14 from $3.55-$3.95, and its revenue range to $5.225B-$5.375B from $4.97B-$5.17B. In August it guided to earnings of $4.19 and revenue of $5.38B. Both of today's ranges sit above those figures.

Chief Executive Officer Jon Kemp said materials innovation is becoming a critical driver of chip performance. He said Qnity will keep investing in differentiated technologies to meet visible customer demand. The higher ranges rest on that demand turning into revenue over the rest of the year.
