Everus Construction raises 2026 guidance for the second time this year
The company lifts its profit forecast by more than its sales forecast after third-quarter earnings of $1.79 a share beat expectations.
Everus Construction Group raised its 2026 forecast for EBITDA, a measure of operating profit before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation, to $485m to $495m. It had guided to $410m to $425m. Revenue guidance rises to $5.0bn to $5.1bn, from $4.5bn to $4.7bn.
The new revenue range sits about 10% above the midpoint of the old one. The EBITDA range sits about 17% above its old midpoint. The profit outlook is therefore moving faster than the sales outlook.
The third quarter gave management the ground for it. Earnings were $1.79 a share, $0.47 better than expected. Revenue was $1.34bn against $1.20bn expected.
Chief executive Jeffrey S. Thiede said the company expects a strong finish to the year, given sustained momentum. That is a forecast, not a result. But this is the second raise of 2026, so the outlook has changed twice this year and is not the product of a single quarter. If the fourth quarter matches Thiede's tone, repeated raises will be harder to put down to one strong period.
