Super Micro Computer beats Q1 forecasts and guides to $72.0B to $82.0B of sales in fiscal 2027
The beat comes under a finance chief only weeks into the job, at a company whose reporting has drawn doubt since last year's accounting lapses.

Super Micro Computer reported first-quarter revenue of $19.95B after the market closed today, against $16.72B expected. Earnings per share were $1.81, $0.55 better than expected.
Revenue was well above even the preliminary guidance the company flagged on October 20. That confirms the Vera Rubin NVL72 ramp is turning into bookings faster than modelled.
The earnings beat matters for a second reason. The company has a new chief financial officer, only weeks into the role, and its reporting has been doubted since last year's accounting lapses. A beat of this size eases that doubt.
CEO Charles Liang said the company's Data Center Building Block Solutions are driving customer value and lifting profitability through a wider range of software, service and networking offerings.
Guidance runs beyond this quarter, which suggests management sees demand from data-centre buildouts lasting rather than bunching into one period. For the second quarter of fiscal 2027 the company expects net sales of $19.5B to $21.5B and non-GAAP earnings per share of $1.66 to $1.90. For the full fiscal year it expects net sales of $72.0B to $82.0B.
