Skyworks Solutions misses fourth-quarter forecasts and gives its first combined outlook with Qorvo
The company guides first-quarter revenue of $1.80bn to $1.90bn and reaffirms a target of $500m or more in annual cost savings from the Qorvo deal.

Skyworks Solutions earned $1.28 a share in its fourth quarter, $0.02 less than expected, on revenue of $1.05bn against the $1.06bn forecast.
The miss is small. What counts is that this is the first report since the Qorvo merger closed on October 5, and it starts weaker than the "immediately accretive" framing used for the deal at close.
For the first fiscal quarter of 2027, its first as a combined company, Skyworks guides to revenue of $1.80bn to $1.90bn. That includes about $1.07bn from legacy Skyworks and about $780m from legacy Qorvo. At the midpoint of the range it expects non-GAAP earnings per share of $1.25, on about 241 million diluted shares.
That guide is the first real test of whether the two businesses are tracking the model used to sell the deal. The debt was already refinanced through note exchanges on October 7, so the question is now execution, not deal mechanics.
Skyworks reaffirms its target of $500m or more in annual cost synergies, meaning savings from combining the two companies, within 24 to 36 months. Chief executive Phil Brace said the combination gives Skyworks the scale and technology breadth to lead the next era of wireless, and that the focus is now on execution.
The nearest marker is about $150m of operating expense synergies within fiscal 2027, weighted to the second half.
