Rezaei says Hormuz stays shut until US answers Iran's seven conditions, Vahid Online reports
Qatari mediators have made two trips to Tehran with a new peace plan, which does not appear to have been accepted.

Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, says the Strait of Hormuz will reopen only once Washington fully and explicitly answers Iran's seven conditions and acts on them, according to Vahid Online, an Iranian citizen-news channel. He called the US response to "Iran's rights and demands" unconvincing.
That hardens the demand reported earlier today. For oil and shipping, it ties the strait's reopening to a US move, not to talks alone, and gives mediators a concrete list to negotiate against. Tehran wants action, not words. Which side moves first is the dispute that has sunk earlier drafts.
Rezaei said he had recently received a letter from US Vice President JD Vance. A line to Washington is open, yet he still rates the American answer as short of what Iran requires.
Vahid Online said Qatari mediators have travelled to Tehran twice in recent days with a new peace plan. It does not appear to have been accepted by Tehran. President Masoud Pezeshkian said a return to war benefits neither side, a statement about war rather than an answer to the plan.
