Regal Rexnord explores sale of autonomous mobile business as it raises adjusted profit outlook
Third-quarter earnings of $2.90 a share beat expectations, but the company cut its 2026 GAAP guidance even as it lifted the adjusted range.
Regal Rexnord is exploring the sale of its autonomous mobile solutions business, which turns a broad portfolio review into a specific disposal. CEO Aamir Paul said the company is conducting a comprehensive portfolio review and wants to direct capital to its most attractive opportunities.
The quarter gave him room to say so. Earnings were $2.90 a share, $0.21 better than expected. Revenue was $1.59B against $1.58B expected, a slight beat.
Guidance points two ways. The company raised and narrowed its 2026 adjusted diluted EPS range to $10.60 to $10.90, with a midpoint of $10.75. It lowered and narrowed its 2026 GAAP diluted EPS range to $3.76 to $4.06.
The two measures are therefore far apart for 2026, and a reader who looks only at the adjusted figure would miss it. The outcome of the sale exploration will show how far the portfolio changes.
