Camping World says 2026 Adjusted EBITDA will miss its range and stops giving full-year guidance
The RV retailer posted a third-quarter loss of $0.19 a share on revenue of $1.58B and raised its savings target to more than $150m, blaming pressure on new vehicle margins.
Camping World reported a third-quarter loss of $0.19 a share, $0.33 worse than expected, on revenue of $1.58B against the $1.67B analysts were looking for.
The quarter matters less than what the company said about the year. It now expects 2026 Adjusted EBITDA to come in below the low end of its earlier range of $230m to $270m. It will issue no further full-year guidance, and will discuss its 2027 framework with fourth-quarter results. Investors lose their reference point for the year, and the next firm outlook is some way off.
Chief executive Matthew Wagner tied the shortfall to new vehicle margins. He said the company sped up its cost efficiency programme after signals of greater-than-expected pressure on those margins, and that it enters the fourth quarter with a cost base rebuilt for current market conditions.
The response is to cut costs rather than to forecast a recovery. Anticipated annualised savings from the programme now total more than $150m, up from the $100m target announced earlier. That suggests management expects to need more cost reduction than it first planned.
Fourth-quarter selling, general and administrative expenses are expected to fall by more than $50m from a year earlier. That figure will show how much of the margin pressure the cost base can absorb.
